Analytics Engineer

As an Analytics Engineer specializing in Databricks at Mastech Digital, you will be responsible for utilizing various tools and technologies to drive transformation workflows and pipeline development. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing dbt-databricks adapter for transformation workflows - Utilizing Delta Live Tables (DLT) for declarative pipeline development - Working with Medallion architecture: Bronze, Silver, Gold layer patterns - Leveraging Databricks Asset Bundles for project deployment and CI/CD - Utilizing Unity Catalog for data lineage and impact analysis - Working with Spark SQL functionalities such as CTEs, window functions, MERGE, and SCD patterns - Understanding and implementing DLT expectations and data quality constraints - Integrating Git with Databricks Repos for version control Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in a related field - 3+ years of experience in analytics/data engineering with at least 1 year on Databricks - Strong communication skills for client interactions and technical documentation Desirable skills for this position involve the ability to influence and build trust with C-suite stakeholders.
