As an Analyst in the Analytics & Metrics team at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in supporting various initiatives and projects within GBSC. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Supporting multiple analytics projects and initiatives within GBSC and Mastercard. - Identifying, designing, and implementing data and process automation solutions to enhance GBSC Operations and the global organization. - Building and maintaining an infrastructure for effectively working with large sets of unstructured and structured data. - Developing new queries and Alteryx flows for data extraction, transformation, and analysis to meet project requirements. - Creating Tableau dashboards and reports that adhere to best practices in data visualization and effectively communicate insights. - Utilizing Microsoft Power Apps for application development. - Demonstrating a strong understanding of the Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power BI. - Experience with data integration and APIs. - Contributing to the innovation and development of next-generation analytics for GBSC and Mastercard. - Collaborating with the analytics community and customers to align on short and long-term objectives. Qualifications required for this role include: - Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for applying data to solve business challenges. - Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in identifying solutions. - Proficiency in Alteryx, Tableau, data preparation/ETL, and SQL. - Knowledge of programming languages like R or Python. - Familiarity with advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and Natural Language Processing. - Expertise in information delivery and data visualization techniques. - Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. In addition, it would be beneficial to have experience in data modeling, optimization models, Cloud Platforms, and Big Data technologies.
