As a Senior Data Engineer in the Data Collection & Engineering Services team, you will play a crucial role in a rapidly expanding team within a successful organization. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with experienced engineers to develop operational tools and practices that ensure service availability across hosted and cloud-based infrastructure. Your expertise in influencing and providing operational guidance will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Build tools and systems to deploy and scale applications and data in hybrid-cloud and physical environments - Enable the platform for building, testing, deploying, and hosting data pipelines across global data centers - Work on enterprise logging, monitoring, and vulnerability detection Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience - 6+ years of experience in Data Warehouse projects in a product or service-based organization - 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer - Proficiency in solving for Scalability, Performance, and Stability - Experience in Java/Spring boot/Microservices programming languages - Proficiency in SQL and relational databases - Expertise in Linux operating systems, scripting, and environment - Experience in implementing CI/CD build pipelines using tools like Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and Chef - Good to have operational experience in Big Data Stacks (Hadoop ecosystem, Spark is a plus) - Good to have operational experience in real-time, streaming, and data pipelines relevant frameworks (Kafka and NiFi is a plus) Additional Company Details: Mastercard emphasizes the importance of information security for all employees.
