About the role
As a Software Engineer I at Mastercard, you will be involved in developing cutting-edge solutions for Transaction Stream teams, focusing on new switch development for Authorization, Clearing, and other major services. This role requires analyzing and creating innovative solutions, managing relationships with stakeholders, and collaborating with various groups to ensure project success. Key responsibilities include: - Analyzing and creating cutting-edge solutions for Transaction Stream teams - Managing relationships with various stakeholders such as Business Owners and Testing Teams - Coordinating with other groups, including vendors, to ensure project success - Leading an end-to-end Agile (SAFe) Product development - Demonstrating an understanding of the Payment and Cards industry Your role as a Full Stack Developer in Java will involve: - Developing initiatives in Switching Solutions - Utilizing strong technical skills in Java and the Spring Boot Framework - Leveraging cloud experience, particularly in Pivotal Cloud Foundry - Handling RDBMS or Cutting Edge Database tasks - Coordinating with various groups within Mastercard for project success - Implementing Automation, CI/CD, and Quality initiatives - Managing coordination between teams located in different locations To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Good experience as a Developer in Agile projects - Knowledge in product development covering Database, Messaging, UI, and Reporting - Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Containers (PAAS) - Experience in Online/Real-Time or Batch development - Familiarity with CI and CD processes - Involvement in quality initiatives - Results-oriented with Automation experience and a focus on Code Quality - Experience in PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) is desirable - Strong communication skills As part of your corporate security responsibility at Mastercard, you are expected to: - Abide by Mastercards security policies and practices - Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed - Report any suspected information security violation or breach - Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercards guidelines Join Mastercard in powering economies and empowering people worldwide through innovative digital payment solutions and technology.
