Role Overview: As a Software Engineer II in Release Management at Mastercard, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various functions and play a crucial role in the team behind Crypto Secure. This powerful risk assessment tool helps banks enhance their visibility into crypto spend, transaction volumes, and AML risk exposure through an intuitive dashboard. Your role will involve technical execution and delivery, mentoring and guiding the team, and collaborating across different teams within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, monitor, execute, and implement the program's release strategy to ensure successful delivery. - Develop long-term plans and strategies for business growth while meeting project deadlines and milestones. - Manage version control, build and development control, change management, and risk management. - Collaborate with external teams to maintain infrastructure regularly. - Provide technical and advisory support to staff, ensuring successful implementation of applications and infrastructure. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team. - Bridge the gap between Software and Data Engineering teams with Operations teams. - Lead complex initiatives of strategic importance and partner with cross-functional teams. - Align technical and business delivery priorities with Product Managers, Engineering team, and BizOps. Qualifications Required: - Experience in release management with knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins build and deployment. - Understanding of Cloud infrastructure, databases, and microservices. - High-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to function under pressure. - Excellent time management skills and deep knowledge of Agile processes and continuous delivery. - Strong technical acumen and communication skills. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments. - Ability to influence without authority and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders. - Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure. - Experience working on global projects and programs in a fast-paced environment.
