About the Role

Cloud Foundations is the bedrock of Hinge's engineering: the AWS infrastructure, networking, IaC, and Kubernetes systems that every product team builds on. When this team does its job well, the rest of engineering ships faster and operates more reliably by default.

We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the 5-person Cloud Foundations team and serve as the key leader in the Platform group — owning both the team's outcomes and Hinge's broader infrastructure strategy.

As a member of the Platform leadership team, you'll approach infrastructure like a product — understanding the needs of your internal customers and the business, shaping a roadmap that balances reliability, velocity, and cost, investing in the engineers behind the work, and staying close enough to the details to be credible in design reviews and on-call rotations.
