Job Title: QA/Test Automation Engineer Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Bengaluru, India Employment Type: Full-time / Contract Role Overview/Job Responsibilities Required Skills: 4 to 7 years of experience in end-to-end systems integration testing of enterprise applications. 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium with Java & BDD framework. Strong expertise in functional, automation, API, mobile, and backend testing. 3+ years of experience testing Angular or React UI applications, with exposure to AWS services, DynamoDB, and REST APIs. Proven experience working in cloud environments and using tools such as GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, and Zephyr. Solid understanding of SDLC processes and various testing methodologies, with a focus on quality assurance best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Analyze application requirements, user stories, and project documentation to fully understand business processes and quality expectations. Develop detailed test scenarios and test cases to validate business applications against Hitachi s quality standards. Execute manual and automated tests, document defects, and track resolution through development and regression cycles. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JMeter and Selenium to enhance test coverage and efficiency. Partner with QA Leads and cross-functional teams to define comprehensive test plans, including quality protocols, testing types, and entry/exit criteria aligned with Hitachi s quality goals. Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement. Perform functional and non-functional testing across user interfaces, backend services, integrations, and reporting components. Conduct security, disaster recovery, and performance testing to ensure system robustness and reliability. Automate front-end and back-end testing for functional, integration, and performance validation using industry-standard tools and custom scripts.
