About the role
Role & responsibilities Core Responsibilities (General Manager to VP) - Execution Head Engineering (Industrial & Warehousing Preferred) Project Lifecycle Oversight : Lead end-to-end engineering operations from pre-construction (feasibility, site evaluation) through design, construction, and final closeout. Technical Governance : Establish frameworks and policies for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), HVAC, and fire/life safety systems to ensure consistency across the portfolio. Compliance & Safety : Ensure projects adhere to local building codes, environmental standards, and statutory regulations (e.g., RERA in India, fire NOCs, and pollution control). Value Engineering & Cost Control : Manage massive CAPEX and OPEX budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities through optimized material selection and process improvements. Digital Transformation : Implement Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other construction technologies to mitigate delays and enhance facility management. Vendor Management : Supervise contractors, architects, and specialized engineering consultants, handling dispute resolution and change orders. Preferred candidate profile Key Requirements Experience : 15 20 years in senior engineering or project management roles specifically within large-scale Industrial & Warehousing, Commercial or real estate development. Technical Proficiency : Mastery of civil, structural, or mechanical engineering principles as they relate to Industrial & Warehousing 0r high-rise, commercial developments. Education : Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
