PLC Programmer

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing automation systems to ensure smooth plant operations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Troubleshooting and rectifying machine breakdowns related to PLC, HMI, sensors, I/O modules, and communication networks. - Performing periodic backups of PLC, HMI, and drive programs and maintaining proper records. - Verifying and correcting poka-yoke logic in machine control systems. - Supporting minor PLC/HMI program modifications for improved machine reliability and process control. - Assisting the plant maintenance team in resolving automation-related production issues. - Maintaining proper documentation of troubleshooting, backups, and modifications. - Ensuring minimum downtime and quick response to breakdowns. You should possess the following skills: - Strong knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.) - Experience in HMI and SCADA systems - Understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, and I/O modules - Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.) - Basic understanding of drives (VFD/Servo) - Problem-solving and analytical skills Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation The company provides benefits such as food, Provident Fund, paid sick time, paid time off, and the work location is in person.
