Project In-charge - O&M (BOT NH Project)

Role & responsibilities 1. Highway Operations & Maintenance Manage and supervise day-to-day O&M activities of the highway. Routine & Periodic Maintenance of Highway, patchwork, maintenance of shoulders, road marking, crack sealing, road signages, road furniture like Metal Beam Crash barriers etc.; Conducting Inspection of Highway & Structures like bridges, culverts, drains etc. in a routine manner. 2. Site Planning, Monitoring, Coordination & Execution Prepare Annual, quarterly & monthly maintenance plans and Coordinate with site staff to ensure timely completion of maintenance works. Prepare work programs, resource deployment plans, and progress monitoring reports. 3. Scope Management Preparation of change of scope proposals as per clients & publics demand 4. Client Coordination & Compliance Liaise with PWD, Independent Engineer & MoRTH officials. Attend client meetings, inspections, audits, and review discussions. Ensure compliance with Concession Agreement and O&M Manual. Resolve client observations and maintain strong professional relationships. 5. Correspondence & Documentation Draft letters for issues faced by Concessionaire & draft replies to I.E/PWD/MoRTH letters. Prepare Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) for submission to client & I.E. Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, incidents as per prescribed formats. 6. Team & Resource Management Lead and manage O&M engineers, supervisors, technicians, and maintenance staff. Monitor contractor performance and resource utilization. Ensure efficient utilisation of machinery, equipment, and vehicles. Preferred candidate profile Qualification – B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering Experience – 12+ years of experience in National Highway/Maintenance Projects with preference for a candidate who has experience of working in a similar profile as Manager/In-charge of a running BOT/ OMT/ PBMC/ O&M project.
