About the role
Role Overview: You will be working as a Business Systems Analyst IV at McCormick's Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland. In this role, you will research, analyze, and design system applications to meet the organization's needs and integrate with existing and future systems. You will consult with the business to identify operating procedures, problems, and requirements, and design models and materials for analysis and solution development. Your work will be highly independent, and you may assume a team lead role. You will serve as a proactive business partner, enabling business through technology in an integrated enterprise systems environment. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a functional leader, team member, or Project Manager on multiple applications, technology projects, and strategic planning initiatives. - Responsible for system configuration, testing, user acceptance, deployment, and post-implementation support. - Write or review functional specifications and formulate systems scope and objectives relative to business needs. - Participate in project design reviews, research new technologies, and seek constant improvement opportunities. - Work closely with various stakeholders, including steering committees, business leads, customers, and vendors. - Provide system problem resolution, user support, change management, and root cause analyses. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline. May consider 10+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree. - Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems. - Proficiency with SQL, strong communication, and interpersonal skills. - Expertise in tactical execution, project management, and business systems requirements definition. - Certification in 1 ERP module, preferably SAP.
