Enterprise Architect - Technology Infrastructure & Service Delivery

As an Enterprise Architect at McCormick, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategy and collaborating with Business Unit / Functional leadership teams. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as a key advisory to the leadership team and contributing to the EA strategy by understanding strategic business needs and collaborating to solve complex technology Architecture or business-significant problems. - Leading the development of architecture strategy, roadmaps, and guardrails within your accountable capability area. - Utilizing business capability models, technology reference models, and functional area roadmaps to guide investment decisions aligning with business and IT strategy. - Tracking and applying emerging innovative technologies, assessing their potential impact on the business model, and contributing to the evolution of innovations. - Influencing EA and Global ITs strategic goals, ensuring alignment with global IT standards and EA Guiding Principles. In addition to the above, your key responsibilities will involve: - Working on complex projects within your architecture domain, providing architectural designs and guidance based on in-depth knowledge. - Acting as a trusted advisor to Product Line leaders, solving challenges through design, strategy, and solutions. - Leading solution architecture alignment with enterprise strategy and standards, while addressing requirements and optimization across the enterprise. - Participating in the creation of governing principles and standards for architecture decision making, identifying exceptions at an enterprise level, and facilitating resolution. - Researching emerging technologies to improve cost effectiveness and systems flexibility, and developing plans for investing in systems architecture. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - 15+ years of IT experience, with a significant portion in an engineering/architecture role. - Strong business acumen in the CPG industry, with depth in business and technical architecture domains. - Familiarity with information management practices, regulatory requirements, and data privacy laws, especially those relevant to the pharmaceutical industry. - Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, ERP, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics.
