About the role
As a member of the Global Business Solutions Transformation Team at McCormick, reporting to the Service Operations Manager, your role is crucial in delivering accurate, standardized, and insight-driven reporting to support data-based decision-making. You will be responsible for ensuring data quality and integrity across multiple sources, managing KPI governance and documentation, and developing structured Excel and Power BI dashboards focused on actionable performance insights. Your tasks will include monitoring trends, highlighting risks and improvement opportunities, maintaining reporting consistency, and leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline reporting processes, enhance automation, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Data Management & Accuracy - Collect, validate, cleanse, and manage datasets from multiple sources. - Ensure high levels of data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. - Build and maintain structured Excel files with formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data validation. - Perform periodic reporting cycles and support ad hoc data requests. - Reporting, Metrics & KPI Management - Ensure KPI standardization and consistency across reports and dashboards. - Document KPI methodologies and assumptions for transparency and governance. - Monitor performance trends, highlight risks and improvement opportunities. - Gather data and conduct substantive root cause analysis of underperforming scores. - Create user-friendly how-to guides, SOPs, and process documentation. - Support knowledge sharing by maintaining structured documentation repositories. - Power BI Reporting - Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports focused on actionable KPIs. - Transform and model data within Power BI using Power Query and DAX. - Visualize trends, variances, and performance drivers clearly and effectively. - Perform troubleshooting and continuous improvement of existing reports. - AI & Continuous Improvement - Leverage AI tools to improve data analysis, automation, KPI tracking, and documentation efficiency. - Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes. - Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to experiment with emerging technologies. Required Qualifications: - Level of Education and Discipline: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar. - Certifications and/or Licenses: Power BI Technical Skills: Must have: - Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning, structured datasets). - Strong Power BI experience (dashboard creation, data modeling fundamentals). - Experience defining, calculating, and monitoring KPIs. - Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy. Nice To Have: - Understanding of data governance and metric standardization. - PowerApp - Sharepoint - Python Interpersonal Skills: - Clear written and verbal communication skills in fluent English. - Great attention to details and strong focus on delivering against deadlines. - Ability to translate business objectives into measurable metrics. - Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
