About the role
As the Director, Functional Portfolio & Product Lead at McDonalds Corporation in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in aligning the data and analytics portfolio with strategic business objectives. Your responsibilities will involve: - Leading the prioritization, delivery, and governance of domain-specific product portfolios to ensure they deliver measurable business value. - Overseeing product strategy, roadmap development, and backlog execution to bridge technical execution with business outcomes. - Facilitating business and technical requirements gathering, portfolio ownership, and consultative leadership to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. - Focusing on portfolio optimization, fostering cross-functional collaboration, embedding best practices in product management, and promoting a culture of data-informed strategy and execution. You will be expected to: - Own the strategic alignment across business stakeholders for specific data portfolios. - Partner with business leaders to document business requirements for products. - Manage a team of Data Product owners and prioritize and plan for the delivery of domain product portfolios. - Provide business consulting and coaching related to products. - Work across teams to provide feedback on adoption, training, and deployment. Your skills should include: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in data analysis tools and software. - Experience in managing high-performing teams. - Expertise in data visualization and storytelling for effective communication of insights. - An educational background in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. - 12 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role. - Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects.
