Tecnomatix Simulation Expert

We are seeking an experienced Tecnomatix Simulation Expert with strong expertise in digital manufacturing, simulation, and virtual commissioning The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital twin solutions, manufacturing simulations, and production optimization models using Siemens Tecnomatix and/or NVIDIA Omniverse platforms The role requires close collaboration with manufacturing, industrial engineering, automation, and IT teams to improve factory performance, validate production processes, and support digital transformation initiative Key Responsibilities Plant Simulation Develop and maintain manufacturing plant simulation models Analyze throughput, bottlenecks, resource utilization, and production capacity Perform what-if analyses to optimize factory layouts and production strategies Support capacity planning and production ramp-up activities Process Simulation Create and validate process simulation models for manufacturing operations Evaluate cycle times, workstation balancing, and process efficiency Simulate manufacturing scenarios before physical implementation Support process validation and continuous improvement initiatives Digital Twin Digital Thread Develop and deploy digital twin models for manufacturing facilities and production systems Integrate engineering, manufacturing, and operational data into a unified digital thread Support real-time monitoring and predictive analysis initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure model accuracy and data consistency Line Simulation Simulate assembly lines, production cells, and material flow systems Optimize line balancing, takt time adherence, and production sequencing Conduct throughput and productivity studies Validate new production concepts and automation strategies Warehouse Material Flow Simulation Model warehouse operations, storage systems, and logistics flows Simulate AGVs, AMRs, conveyors, and material handling systems Analyze inventory movement, picking strategies, and warehouse capacity Recommend improvements to warehouse efficiency and logistics performance Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience in Tecnomatix simulation tools Manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering concepts Experience in providing solutions to improve OEE SQL, Python, or scripting for simulation automation (preferred) Integration with MES, ERP, PLM, and IoT systems Must Have Skills Tecnomatix Plant Simulation is the core tool, and any candidate needs hands-on experience building models, running bottleneck/throughput analyses, and integrating with enterprise systems like MES, ERP, and PLM Line balancing, takt time, and OEE improvement are also baseline expectations at the 8+ year mark Good To Have Skills NVIDIA Omniverse/Isaac Sim is increasingly sought after for next-generation digital twin work Python/SimTalk scripting is important for simulation automation and will likely become a must-have soon PLC/SCADA familiarity is especially valuable for virtual commissioning roles Keywords Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, Digital Twin, Virtual Commissioning, OEE Improvement, Material Flow Simulation, Line Balancing Disclaimer This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
