Project Lead/Group Head Seniority Level: Senior-Level (7-10Years) Job Function: Plan, Design, Development, Deployment & Mentor Employment Type: Full Time Job description Position Summary We are currently seeking a Project Lead / Group Head who will be responsible for complete ownership of various tech products. The role involves understanding operations & requirements, design & development of the product, capacity planning for servers and database and deploying the system on production. The person should be goal oriented, possess exceptional attention to detail, and have outstanding interpersonal skills. This role will involve mentoring other team members on technology and domain. It also involves working with other teams and co-ordinate with them. Key Responsibility Areas The person will be owner of certain tech products which are developed for various internal teams to automate many of their operations work and to add business intelligenceUnderstand their working and come up with ideas for automationSpec out the requirements and product designHelp the team in technology design and work with developers for end-to-end development & testingCarry out capacity planning for servers and databases to ensure optimum load for applications on productionTake initiatives in coming up with new features for the product and implement themMentor other team members on technology and domain and help them grow in their careerConstantly learn new technologies and also add domain knowledge Skills Strong knowledge of Java fundamentalsExperience working on various advanced Java technologiesExperience in leading & mentoring a team on multiple projectsGood knowledge of Relational Databases and web serversKnowledge of Big Data or Machine Learning is a plusWorking knowledge of AWS or GCP is requiredExperience working on the entire product-development lifecycle from scratch is a plusExcellent command on English language (Spoken and Written)Passion for excellence with high attention to detailsAbility to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere Qualifications Education: E. in Computer Engineering or an equivalent degree (B.Tech, MCA)Minimum 7 years of total experienceMinimum 3 years of experience in leading teams on different projectsExperience working in a product company (developing tech products) is preferable What You Can Expect From Interactive AvenuesInteractive Avenues vision is to make advertising more insightful to the brands.
