Network Administrator (Thaltej)

Job Title: Network Administrator Experience : 1 to 2 years Location: [Ahmedabad] Job Type: [Full-Time] Reports To: IT Manager / IT Director Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi. - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal reliability and security. - Maintain and administer perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems. - Perform regular network performance tuning and provide network support and troubleshooting. - Maintain network documentation and network diagrams. - Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and other network services. - Collaborate with systems administrators and other IT staff to support business operations. - Stay updated with the latest network technologies and security best practices. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Network Administrator, Network Engineer or similar role. - In-depth knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). - Hands-on experience with networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, etc.). - Experience with firewall management and security tools. - Familiarity with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds). - Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are highly preferred.
