Senior Software Engineer

Software Development Engineer II (Frontend) We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II (Frontend) with 3+ years of experience to join our engineering team and help build and scale our e-commerce marketplace platform. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create fast, scalable, and user-friendly web experiences. You will contribute to the development of customer-facing features, improve application performance and SEO, and help drive frontend engineering best practices across the team. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript . Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components and modules. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality features and enhancements. Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs. Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and SEO. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments. Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. Take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle, from development to deployment and monitoring. Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve development processes. Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional software development experience. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript . Hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js . Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and modern web development principles. Experience building scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly web applications. Familiarity with API integration and client-server communication. Basic understanding of backend development concepts and RESTful APIs. Understanding of frontend performance optimization and SEO fundamentals. Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience working on e-commerce, marketplace, retail, or B2B commerce platforms . Familiarity with Core Web Vitals , web performance optimization, and frontend best practices. Exposure to cloud-based environments and deployment workflows. Experience working in Agile development environments. Experience with React Native and mobile application development is good to have.
