Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing support to the user community and development team in the design, development, configuration, and testing of Medlines Logistics Systems, including Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and Labor Management Systems. Key Responsibilities: - Assign and monitor tasks for the Logistics Systems Support team. - Collaborate with application development teams on solutions for new projects and enhancements. - Work closely with the General Help Desk to address issues related to open trouble tickets. - Engage with internal customers to resolve current issues. - Ensure proper feedback to the Development Team on new application functionality, enhancements, and current issues. - Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions for application issues. - Create workaround procedures and ensure timely issue resolution. - Escalate urgent problems to appropriate internal resources. - Track and manage development issues for both breaks and enhancements. - Interface with key internal users to understand and document development needs and ensure client needs are met. - Participate in the development of metrics, KPIs, and processes specific to the Logistics Systems Support Team. - Monitor established metrics and KPIs, perform ticket and call quality reviews, and coach Logistics System Support Team. - Mentor, advise, and lead team members to best support Medline employees and customers. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - At least 4+ years of experience in a related area with knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. - Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages, interpret bar graphs and spreadsheets. - Demonstrated ability to act and learn independently, use basic PC operating systems and applications, work well under pressure, make key decisions, and motivate others. - Creativity and latitude are required. - Ability to create an engaging work environment fostering collaboration, career growth, and operational excellence. - Occasional travel, possibly international, may be required.
