IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager

As an IT Infrastructure Manager at Medpace, you will play a crucial role in leading the Navi Mumbai and APAC team to support the company's global and innovation demands. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing global IT infrastructure components such as routers, firewalls, switches, servers, virtual hosts, storage systems, and phone switches - Overseeing the physical aspect of the global infrastructure including datacenters, physical plant cabling, and network closets - Ensuring the backup, restore, and archive processes for Medpace servers are successfully completed daily and escalating issues to Sr. IT Management when necessary - Serving as the liaison between Software Development, System Owners, and other teams when IT Infrastructure is involved - Researching, proposing, and implementing enhancements to Medpace IT infrastructure and procedures - Supervising, training, and developing Systems and/or Network Engineers - Identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems related to Medpace IT infrastructure - Performing other tasks related to IT infrastructure Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field - 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure - Hands-on experience with Microsoft and CISCO equipment and products - Hands-on project management experience in IT Infrastructure - Demonstrated competency in managing IT staff both within supervision as well as dotted line staff - Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills in English - Experience in a clinical (or regulated) environment is a plus Additional details about Medpace: Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO) that provides Phase I-IV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.
