Software QA Test Engineer

Medpace is hiring for the role of Software QA Test Engineer! Responsibilities of the Candidate: Work closely with developers and end users throughout the software life cycle to ensure that applications meet the needs of the users. Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and other documentation for projects. Participate in constructive peer review of test cases. Understand, design, and execute SQL queries for databse/backend validation. Identify and report software defects and inconsistencies. Review, analyze, and supplement requirement specifications, and ensure 100% test coverage; and Help facilitate the execution of acceptance test scripts by end users Requirements: Minimum bachelors degree and 1+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in an agile-like environment. Experience writing and executing manual test cases for complex software applications. Able to logically understand and write complex SQL queries. 6 months to 1 Year experience in designing and executing SQL queries for database/backend validation using database tools like Casandra/ MSSQL/ Mongo DB/Studio 3T. Good to have experience with Snowflake Experience communicating and working within cross-departmental teams consisting of software developers, department leads, and end users. Excellent computer skills; analytical, written, and oral communication skills; and Experience in the regulated healthcare industry is a plus.
