A Day in the LifeThe Product and IT teams at Medtronic collaborate to deliver innovative solutions that align with business strategy and drive meaningful outcomes. As a Senior Product Business Analyst, you will act as a key bridge between product, business, and IT teams, ensuring successful delivery of product initiatives. You will translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, enabling seamless collaboration across stakeholders and driving execution across the product development lifecycle. You will support product development by aligning business objectives with technology solutions, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and strategic goals in a fast-paced, global environment.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Gather, analyze, and document business and product requirementsTranslate needs into user stories, use cases, and functional specificationsEnsure requirements are complete, feasible, and aligned with business objectivesAct as a liaison between product, business, and IT teamsFacilitate cross-functional collaboration and alignmentCommunicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersPartner with engineering teams to ensure solutions align with requirementsSupport design, development, and implementation phasesEnsure alignment with product roadmap and business goalsDevelop and maintain high-quality documentation including requirement specs and functional designsMaintain project artifacts and a single source of truthPrioritize features based on business value and urgencyManage and groom the product backlog with product ownersEnsure backlog readiness for development executionDefine acceptance criteria and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Track defects and ensure resolution before releaseValidate solutions meet business and quality expectationsAnalyze processes to identify improvement opportunitiesEvaluate solutions for effectiveness and efficiencyMonitor performance metrics and recommend optimizationsAlign product initiatives with business strategy and goalsContribute to roadmap planning and data-driven decisionsEnsure delivery of intended business outcomesOperate with high ownership and autonomyMentor junior and mid-level analystsInfluence decisions through stakeholder engagement and expertiseRequired Knowledge and Experience: Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or related field712 years of experience in business analysis or product-focused rolesStrong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder managementExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Nice to HavesExperience in product-based or R&D environmentsExposure to enterprise systems and integration conceptsExperience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similarKnowledge of process improvement methodologies and performance metricsExperience working in global, cross-functional teams Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
