About the role
Role & responsibilities We are looking for an Information Technology - Assistant Manager to manage IT infrastructure and support ISO 27001 (ISMS) implementation in a chemical manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring secure IT systems, supporting plant operations, and maintaining compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Job Location - Aundh, Pune ISO 27001 & Compliance: Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001 ISMS framework Prepare and manage documentation (policies, procedures, risk assessments, asset registers) Conduct internal audits and coordinate with certification bodies Ensure compliance with regulatory and company data security requirements Perform risk assessment and implement security controls Plant IT & Infrastructure Management: Manage IT systems for plant operations (ERP, production systems, lab systems) Maintain network connectivity across plant, office, and remote locations Handle servers, desktops, printers, CCTV's and industrial IT equipment Ensure uptime and reliability of IT systems in production environment Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Monitor firewalls, antivirus, endpoint security, and access controls Implement backup and disaster recovery plans Handle incident response and vulnerability management Ensure secure data handling for production and compliance records User Support & IT Operations: Provide technical support to plant and office staff Manage IT assets, licenses, and inventory Support onboarding/offboarding (user access, systems setup) Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement and AMC Preferred candidate profile Knowledge of ISO 27001 and information security practices mandatory Experience in manufacturing/plant IT environment preferred Basic networking, firewall, and server management Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar is a plus) Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills Preferred candidate profile Bachelors /Master's degree in IT / Computer Engineering ISO 27001 Internal Auditor / Lead Implementer certification
