Job Title: MEP Site Engineer Mechanical Location: Delhi, India Experience: 1-3 Years Department: Projects / MEP Execution Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented MEP Site Engineer (Mechanical) to oversee and manage the execution of mechanical services on construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Utility systems installation activities while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and approved drawings. Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Site Supervision Coordinate with the Project Manager and MEP team to ensure timely execution of all mechanical works. Supervise installation activities related to HVAC systems, plumbing networks, fire fighting systems, and utility services. Ensure all mechanical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, codes, and project requirements. Monitor daily site activities and maintain work progress records. Technical Coordination Provide technical support for HVAC system design aspects, including load calculations, duct routing, pipe sizing, equipment selection, and coordination with other services. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements before execution. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues. Quality Assurance & Compliance Conduct regular site inspections to verify installation quality and compliance with project specifications. Ensure proper installation of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VAV systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, drainage systems, plumbing fixtures, pumps, fire sprinklers, and related equipment. Support QA/QC activities, inspections, testing, and commissioning processes. Identify and address deviations from approved standards and specifications. Testing & Commissioning Participate in pressure testing, flushing, balancing, and commissioning activities for HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems. Maintain records of inspection reports, test certificates, commissioning reports, and handover documentation. Assist in troubleshooting and rectification of system performance issues. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and company HSE policies. Support HSE teams in implementing safe work practices and conducting safety inspections. Promote a safety-first culture across project activities. Reporting & Documentation Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Track material deliveries, installation quantities, and resource utilization. Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, test results, RFIs, and project records. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 13 years of experience in MEP construction projects. Hands-on experience with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Utility Systems. Knowledge of mechanical installation standards, testing, and commissioning procedures. Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office applications. Understanding of relevant IS, NBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and local authority standards is preferred. Required Skills Strong technical understanding of MEP mechanical systems. Site execution and supervision skills. Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Time management and project coordination capabilities. Preferred Experience Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or data center projects. Exposure to testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.
