About the role
As a skilled QA Analyst with expertise in the Capital Markets/Trading Domain, you will have the opportunity to join Meraculus Tech, a company dedicated to simplifying the complexities of the digital world through innovative technology solutions. Your role will involve hands-on experience in Kambala application testing, focusing on Equity Markets, Trade Life Cycle, Derivatives (F&O), Clearing & Settlement processes, and validating end-to-end trading workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Perform Functional, Regression, Integration & UAT Testing - Validate end-to-end Trade Life Cycle workflows - Test Order Management, Trade Execution, Settlement & Portfolio functionalities - Execute Equity and Derivatives (F&O) workflow validation - Prepare Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Data & Test Reports - Review user requirements and ensure testability - Perform SQL-based backend validation - Execute API/interface testing using tools like Postman/Swagger - Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools - Participate in deployment validation and smoke testing - Collaborate closely with Product, Business & Development teams - Validate that business/user expectations are met during testing - Work within Agile/Scrum methodology environments Mandatory Skills: - Strong understanding of Equity Markets - Trade Life Cycle knowledge - Derivatives (Futures & Options) - Capital Market Operations - Clearing & Settlement processes - Functional & Regression Testing - SQL queries for backend validation - API Testing (Postman/Swagger preferred) - Agile/Scrum exposure - Hands-on Kambala application experience - Knowledge of SDLC & STLC Preferred Skills: - Wealth/Trading/Broking application experience - Knowledge of Automation & Load Testing tools (Appium, JMeter) - Familiarity with JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, Redmine - Strong communication & analytical skills - Experience working in fast-paced fintech environments Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively - Previous experience in testing financial systems is highly preferred Note: The additional details of the company were not included in the provided job description.
