Senior Analyst (Site Supervision Engineer)

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Site Supervision Engineer to support the Site Supervision Manager in day-to-day monitoring of construction, installation, and commissioning activities. The Engineer ensures technical accuracy, safety compliance, and timely execution of site works. The project is being undertaken by appointed turnkey contractors and involve major work of augmentation and addition of power transformers and distribution transformers. The role involves assistance to Utility in project supervision, monitoring, performance monitoring and measurement of project performance. This role also requires coordination with DISCOM field and corporate teams, turnkey contractors, power management company and funding agency, along with on-ground support and monitoring, to enable effective implementation of the project.The responsibility includes regular site visits to different circle offices/project sites as and when required by the utility or is necessitated by the requirement of the project. Detailed expectations from the role: Conduct daily site inspections of DTR/PTR augmentation and installation worksVerify contractor workmanship, material quality, and adherence to specificationsAssist in defect identification and maintain punch lists.Witness and document testing of transformers, switchgear, and associated equipment.Support commissioning activities and ensure compliance with required standards.Enforce site-level safety protocols and PPE usage.Monitor environmental and social impacts (tree trimming, waste disposal, community disturbance).Report incidents and support grievance redress mechanisms.Maintain daily site logs, inspection reports, and photographic evidence.Assist in preparation of Monthly report /QPR inputs for the Site Supervision Manager.Verify contractor invoices against actual work progress.Oversee testing, commissioning, and issuance of SAT/FAT certificates.Implement quality assurance protocols and verify contractor invoices.
