About the role
Role Overview: You are being sought as a Senior Frontend Engineer by Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) to spearhead the evolution of the Retail UI. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and modernize the frontend applications, ensuring seamless integration with a diverse ecosystem of internal and external services. Key Responsibilities: - Architecture & Development: Take charge of the development of the AngularJS Retail UI, guaranteeing performance and scalability throughout DEV, INT, and PROD environments. - Integration: Collaborate closely with backend teams to incorporate core services like Digital Signature Service, HERE, and CCS. - Quality Assurance: Implement robust end-to-end testing suites using Cypress to drive test-driven development. - Security & Compliance: Proactively manage vulnerabilities with Blackduck to maintain frontend security against modern threats. - Release Management: Oversee the frontend release lifecycle utilizing Azure DevOps and GitHub CI/CD pipelines. Qualification Required: - Educational Qualifications: Possess a Bachelor's degree or masters degree in engineering.
