Role Overview Are you an experienced network monitoring engineer with a strong commitment to innovation and a proven ability to solve complex problems We are seeking a Network Monitoring Engineer with expertise in data networks and monitoring tools. If you demonstrate a proactive mindset, an analytical approach, and outstanding communication skills, we invite you to become a part of our dynamic team What will you do in this role: Day to day operational management of Network monitoring tools : Responsible for accurate inventory of monitored devices, making sure all monitoring parameters are adhering to corporate monitoring catalogues and accommodating exception requests wherever applicableLead Solution Delivery: Support senior engineer in building and migrating our tools environment, ensuring seamless monitoring solution deliveryLeadership & Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to colleagues and collaborate with various departments to enhance our network monitoring capabilitiesOptimize & Innovate: Analyse data to optimize monitoring processes and propose enhancements to our network monitoring infrastructureStrategic Contribution: Play a pivotal role in developing and refining our overall monitoring strategy and architecture by working with senior engineerAutomation Advocate: Streamline operations by automating repetitive tasks, increasing efficiency across the boardMonitoring Tool Ownership: Manage and maintain multiple monitoring tools, ensuring they meet our operational needsOperational Excellence: Handle day-to-day operational tasks with precision and expertise What should you have: Primary Skill: LogicMonitor/ NetBrain/ ThousandEyes/ BigPanda Monitoring Tools Expertise: Typically requires about 35 years of experience as a network monitoring engineer managing network monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor, NetBrain, ThousandEyes, BigPanda, Dynatrace and/or various types of logging solutionsNetworking Proficiency: Basic networking knowledge at the CCNA level (certification would be advantageous)Project Experience: Proven track record of working on complex projectsTechnology Savvy: Broad understanding of various networking technologies and their orchestrationPossess decent interpersonal and communication skills, writing clear and concise proposals and presentations and interfacing with peer, management, stakeholders, and executivesAbility to create clear and concise presentations for management, stakeholders and executivesAbility to coordinate work tasks with others for timely completion and to avoid potential setbacksAbility to articulate complex and technical ideas accurately and clearlyAbility to adapt current work processes to meet emerging needs and the ability to evaluate new ideas and proposed methods for practicality and ease of implementationService Management Insight: Basic understanding of service management principles and ITIL practicesGlobal Perspective: Experience working in an international environment Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution or equivalent corporate working experienceFamiliarity with key components and best practices of ObservabilityProficiency in analytical tools like Excel, PowerBI and SpotfireBasic scripting skills in Python, Git or BashFamiliarity with Syslog, log collection, and analyticsPassionate about data and good data evangelistKnowledge of .
