About the role
Job Summary We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented MIS Executive & ERP Data Specialist to manage production and business data, generate insightful reports, maintain ERP data accuracy, and support management with timely information for decision-making. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, along with hands-on experience working on ERP systems in an apparel manufacturing or garment export company. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage all MIS reports related to merchandising, production, inventory, procurement, quality, and shipments. Ensure accuracy and integrity of data entered into the ERP system. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards for management. Develop and automate Excel/Google Sheets reports using advanced formulas and reporting techniques. Monitor Time & Action (TNA) status and highlight delays or bottlenecks. Track order progress from order confirmation to shipment. Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, and Accounts teams for timely data collection. Prepare production planning reports, WIP reports, inventory reports, shipment status, and management dashboards. Analyse production efficiency, delays, rejection levels, and inventory trends. Identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis. Maintain master data including styles, buyers, suppliers, fabrics, trims, BOMs, and production information. Support ERP implementation, testing, data migration, and continuous improvements. Ensure timely backups and proper documentation of reports and MIS processes. Required Skills Must Have Advanced Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH SUMIFS Charts & Dashboards Data Validation Strong Google Sheets knowledge Excellent analytical and logical thinking ability High attention to detail Strong communication skills Ability to work with large volumes of data Ability to meet strict reporting timelines ERP Experience Candidates must have hands-on experience using ERP software in an apparel manufacturing or garment export company. Preferred Qualification Graduate in Commerce, Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field. Certification in Advanced Excel, Power BI, Data Analytics, or ERP systems will be an added advantage.
