Backend Engineer - Python

Job Location: Vapi, Gujarat Job Setting - On-site We are seeking a Backend Engineer (Python) with 2+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Python and backend frameworks, with hands-on experience in building robust, secure, and high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using Python Build and manage RESTful APIs Work with backend frameworks such as Django / Flask / FastAPI Design and optimize database schemas and queries Ensure performance, scalability, and security of applications Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams Debug, test, and enhance existing backend systems Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews and follow best practices Required Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python Strong knowledge of Python frameworks (Django / Flask / FastAPI) Experience with REST API development Working knowledge of databases: SQL: PostgreSQL / MySQL NoSQL: MongoDB (preferred) Familiarity with ORMs and database optimization Experience with Git / Version Control Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and collaboration abilities
