Software Test Engineer

Job Description JOB ID 11469: Software Test Engineer METAFORGE IT SOLUTIONS, an Austin, TX based IT Services Firm has multiple openings for JOB ID 11469: Software Test Engineer. Job duties include: Collaborate with the development team to grasp software design specifications. Participate in developing test plans and cases to identify defects effectively. Work on executing test scripts and models, both manually and through automation, and report findings under the supervision of Team Lead. Utilize manual and automated test cases to verify software functionality and find defects as a team member. Assist in debugging code to locate and resolve defects within the software. Work with product management, customer support, and engineering teams to address testing process issues. Maintain regular communication with the development team and stakeholders, providing updates on testing status and issues. Requirements: Master’s degree in Comp Sci, IT, Engg,or related.
