We're looking for a Software Developer with strong hands-on experience in JavaScript and Node.js to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs. You'll work across the stack from database design to API development, contributing to the full software development lifecycle. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js Write clean, efficient, and maintainable JavaScript code Design and optimize database schemas across SQL and NoSQL databases Build and integrate APIs with frontend applications and third-party services Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the application stack Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver features Optimize application performance and database query efficiency Contribute to technical documentation for services and APIs Work with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for deployment Requirements 4+ years of qualified software development experience Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs Solid experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) schema design, queries, indexing Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) document modeling, aggregation Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and Node.js internals Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Express.js Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows Good understanding of software design principles and writing testable code Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Nice to Have Experience with TypeScript Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) Exposure to microservices architecture Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments Experience with CI/CD tools We're looking for a Software Developer with strong hands-on experience in JavaScript and Node.js to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs.
