As a Sr. Software Platform Engineer at MetLife EMEA Technology, your role involves collaborating with various tech teams and vendors to integrate systems, ensuring the delivery of secure and scalable solution architectures in an agile framework. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining Microservices and REST APIs, building high-performance backend services, implementing cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure, and working with containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes. Required Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. - Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and architecting enterprise solutions. - Experience with SaaS and PaaS technologies and services. - Strong hands-on experience in Java, .Net, or Node. - Proven experience in building secure REST APIs and integrating with different platforms. - Knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and API security standards. - Experience with Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. - Soft skills: problem-solving, analytical thinking, accountability, stakeholder management, collaboration, attention to detail, proactive mindset, effective communication, and ability to work in a diverse environment.
