About the role

Department: Global Technology Role Overview MetLife is seeking experienced Software Engineers to contribute to its digital and AI transformation. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native software solutions while working in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Develop applications using modern technologies (Front-end, Back-end, APIs, Databases) Implement best practices for cloud, AI/Data, and emerging technologies Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently Collaborate with global teams to drive digital transformation Follow Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent Experience: 3+ years in application software development, cloud-native applications, and APIs Tech Stack: Java (Spring Boot), ReactJS, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Kubernetes, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Swift, React Native Languages: Business proficiency in English; Japanese language is a plus Other Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment This is a great opportunity to be part of MetLife's technology transformation journey.
