Python Django Developer

Position: Python Django Developer Type: Full-Time Contract (6 months, extendable) Location: Remote / Work-from-Home Experience: 2–3+ years Compensation: 38,000 – 45,000 per month (based on experience) Joining: Immediate preferred About the Role We are hiring a dedicated Python Django Developer for a full-time contractual role to work on backend development, API creation, integrations, and feature enhancements. The candidate should be capable of independently handling assigned modules and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a 6-month contract , with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems using Python , Django , and Django REST Framework (DRF) . Build scalable REST APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend applications. Implement authentication, user management, and role-based access features. Design and manage relational databases ( PostgreSQL/MySQL ). Optimize SQL queries, create migrations, and maintain data integrity. Work with caching systems (Redis preferred). Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, SMS/email services, cloud tools). Support deployment on cloud platforms like AWS , DigitalOcean , or similar. Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage. Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions. Ensure performance, reliability, and security best practices. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Python and Django framework. Hands-on experience with Django REST Framework . Solid understanding of SQL, ORM, and relational database concepts. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JS for debugging and API integration. Experience with Git and version control workflows. Ability to work independently and deliver within deadlines. Good to Have Experience with Celery/background tasks. Knowledge of authentication systems like JWT/OAuth. Exposure to microservices or event-driven architectures. Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3) or cloud hosting. Soft Skills Strong communication and reporting skills. Ownership-driven, reliable, and consistent in delivery. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
