Role & responsibilities Profile L2 Network Administrator Key Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures.Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.Implement SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and security.Deploy SDN solutions to automate network operations and improve scalability.Network Security: Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures.Configure firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security devices.Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits.Respond to security incidents and threats.Network Operations: Monitor network performance and proactively address issues.Perform network upgrades, migrations, and patching.Document network configurations and procedures.Provide technical support to end-users.Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operations.Required Skills and Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering.Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, firewalls).Deep understanding of network security concepts and technologies.Experience with SD-WAN and SDN technologies.Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute).Understanding of network automation tools (Ansible, Python).Excellent communication and documentation skills.Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are preferred.
