Work Location

Bear, DE and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties:

Design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, and major enhancement of existing systems. Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects. Gather and analyze user and business requirements, write and document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs. Implement software and customize to client requirements. Debug, troubleshoot, and provide production support. Write code for moderately complex system designs. Write programs that span platforms. Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs. Review code developed by other Developers. Provide input to and drive programming standards. Report missing elements found in system and functional requirements and explain impacts on subsystem to team members. Perform unit testing and debugging. Set test conditions based upon code specifications. Document what has to be migrated.

Job Requirements:

This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
