About the role
Role Overview: You will work as an Embedded Hardware Lead in a fast-growing deeptech robotics startup that addresses complex automation challenges by designing and executing all aspects of embedded electronics development for advanced robotic platforms. Your role will directly contribute to system architecture, reliability, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: - Make system- and subsystem-level electronics decisions for robotic platforms. - Design and simulate electronic schematics, select components, and execute PCI/PCB design. - Develop and debug embedded firmware in C, ensuring modularity, maintainability, and performance. - Design and validate power management, MCU subsystems, analog/digital signal chains, protection, and isolation circuits. - Apply best practices in signal integrity, grounding, EMC, and reliability engineering. - Utilize oscilloscopes, signal generators, DMMs, and other lab equipment for validation and debugging. - Support testing, iteration, and production scale-up activities. - Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute proactively beyond defined ownership areas. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or related disciplines (ECE/EEE/EIE/Mechatronics). - 5+ years of relevant embedded hardware and firmware experience. - Strong proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools. - Solid firmware development experience in C with MCU vendor toolchains.
