Professional Aide

Unit Position Summary Primary duties and responsibilities: Perform statistical and quantitative analysis using statistical software Writing, formatting, and editing reports and works for dissemination. Assist with data collection and organization of research datasets for specialization Participate in research meetings and provide project support as needed Required Qualifications or Skills: Advanced analytic skills conducting analysis of quasi-experimental studies, including using methods such as Difference-in-Differences and Regression Discontinuity Designs. Advanced knowledge of school choice policies Experience working with administrative data Experience working with school district data administrators Advanced experience with at least one statistical package (e.g. R, Stata, or Python) is required, with a preference for Stata. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize multiple sources.
