As an L1 System Field Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in providing on-site technical support, hardware maintenance, and basic network troubleshooting for our clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Traveling to client locations to resolve basic hardware, software, and operating system issues. - Setting up, configuring, and deploying desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices. - Diagnosing basic connectivity issues, verifying physical cabling, and configuring standard Wi-Fi/LAN settings. - Performing routine software updates, antivirus scans, data backups, and patch management. - Documenting technical issues accurately and escalating complex problems to L2/L3 engineering teams. To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in resolving basic hardware, software, networking, and operating system issues. - Technical Skills: Familiarity with Windows/Mac OS, basic networking protocols, and PC hardware assembly. - Field Readiness: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily client site visits. - Traits: Excellent customer-facing communication skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
