About the role
Board Support Package (BSP) Development: Develop BSPs that provide low-level hardware initialization and abstraction for specific embedded hardware platforms This includes configuring and setting up the hardware components like processors, memory, peripherals, and interfaces Driver Development: Create device drivers that allow the operating system to communicate with and control various hardware components, such as sensors, displays, communication interfaces, and other peripherals RTOS (Real-Time Operating System) Integration: Work on integrating BSPs and drivers with real-time operating systems to enable real-time capabilities for embedded systems Porting and Adaptation: Adapt and port existing BSPs and drivers to different hardware platforms, ensuring compatibility and functionality Kernel-level Development: Implement kernel-level software components and kernel modules to support hardware and peripherals within the embedded system Performance Optimization: Optimize BSPs and drivers to improve system performance, responsiveness, and resource utilization Low-Level Debugging: Debug and diagnose low-level hardware and driver issues, using debugging tools and techniques like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for BSPs and drivers, including specifications, interfaces, and usage guidelines
