As a Software and Research Engineer at Microsoft Security, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge AI solutions to tackle diverse challenges in the digital security space. Your responsibilities will include the following: - Software Engineering Design And Development: - Contribute to the design and development of robust, scalable software solutions integrating machine learning models. - Deploy and integrate AI components into production systems. - Model Development: - Create and implement machine learning models and algorithms for business problem-solving. - Refine and optimize existing models for enhanced performance and accuracy. - Text Prompt Engineering: - Develop, refine, and optimize generative AI prompts for superior accuracy and engagement across various applications. - Data Management: - Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from diverse sources. - Analyze and interpret complex data to identify patterns, trends, and insights for informed business decisions. - Collaboration: - Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions, ensuring project success. - Continuous Learning: - Stay current with the latest trends in AI, data science, machine learning, prompt engineering, software engineering, and automation. - Actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, contributing to team growth and expertise. Qualifications: - Skilled in problem-solving and programming with large datasets, using big data tools and scripting languages such as Python, R, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and/or PowerBI. - Proficiency in using statistical/analysis/ML tools, defining, and implementing intelligent solutions on data. - Experience with deep learning/LLMs applied to areas such as graph learning, IR, NLP, computer vision, etc., is preferred. - 4 years of professional experience in a technical role building and deploying ML solutions at scale for real-world problems. - Bachelors/Masters degree with relevant coursework toward Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Prompt Engineering, and equivalent work experience. - Excellent cross-group and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate solutions.
