About the role
Role & responsibilities Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at the project site. Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines. Coordinate with Project Manager, Planning, QA/QC, MEP, and other departments for smooth project execution. Monitor structural, finishing, and MEP-related civil works to ensure quality standards. Plan and allocate manpower, materials, machinery, and subcontractors effectively. Ensure timely completion of assigned work within the approved schedule. Monitor productivity and resolve site execution issues promptly. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and statutory requirements. Verify reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works before execution. Review construction drawings and resolve technical queries in coordination with the design team. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit updates to management. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors during inspections and project reviews. Verify work quantities and support billing and measurement activities. Ensure proper material planning, receipt, and utilization to minimize wastage. Monitor and maintain project documentation, site records, and work permits. Identify construction risks and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure adherence to company SOPs, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Mentor and guide Site Engineers, Junior Engineers, and supervisors to improve team performance. Participate in project review meetings and provide technical support for project planning and execution. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of RCC, Mivan/Aluform, finishing, and high-rise residential/commercial construction. Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of construction planning, billing, and quantity estimation. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
