Miles has partnered with a leading global professional services firm (our client), ranked in the Top 20, as they build their Global Capability Center (GCC) in India. Join our clients dynamic team to be part of this exciting growth journey. Location: Bandra Kurla Complex Work hours: 2 - 11 pm Work mode: Hybrid Process Engineers map, analyze, and optimize workflows, define repeatable processes, and support the testing, quality assurance, and adoption of new AI tools. The role will support any AI initiative across company's business lines. This role works closely with Product Managers and subject matter experts, is eligible to be filled by an offshore resource, and supports the firm's overall technology strategy. Beyond supporting AI platforms, Process Engineers identify and lead process-improvement initiatives and serve as active participants in the change management required to embed those improvements across the firm. Position Responsibilities Document and map current-state workflows across practice or business areas, identifying inefficiencies and standardization opportunities Design and define optimized, repeatable processes to support AI-enabled platforms Support data preparation, structuring, and validation tasks that feed AI workflows Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guides Partner with Product Managers and developers to ensure processes are accurately reflected in platform design Support training, adoption, and continuous-improvement initiatives across the firm Identify process-improvement opportunities and lead structured initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methods (DMAIC) to measurably reduce waste, cycle time, and defects Serve as an active participant in change management for process improvements supporting stakeholder communication, training, and adoption to ensure changes are sustained What Success Looks Like Success in this role is measured by the quality of the workflows the engineer produces and the durability of the improvements they drive: Well-documented, optimized workflows that feed reliable AI-enabled processes current- and future-state process maps, SOPs, and data requirements that are clear enough for product owners and developers to build against, and complete enough that the resulting automation behaves predictably on real client work. Measurable gains in cycle time and quality improvements quantified against a baseline (e.g., reduced preparation and review hours, fewer hand-offs and rework loops, lower defect and exception rates), using Lean Six Sigma methods to establish metrics and demonstrate impact. Process improvements that are adopted and sustained across the firm — changes that practitioners actually use after launch, supported through change management (communication, training, and adoption tracking) and reinforced with controls and documentation so gains hold over time rather than eroding. Standardized, scalable processes across offices and practice areas — including harmonizing non-standard or newly merged-in workflows into a consistent firm approach the platforms can consume. Qualifications Required 3+ years in process engineering, business analysis, operations, or a related field Strong process mapping, documentation, and quality assurance skills Analytical mindset with attention to detail and structured problem-solving Ability to collaborate across time zones with onshore Product Managers and stakeholders Strong written communication skills Preferred Exposure to accounting, tax, or professional services workflows Familiarity with generative-AI tools and structured data workflows Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) with demonstrated experience applying Six Sigma / Lean methods to process improvement Experience with workflow automation or QA tooling Experience with change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter) and leading adoption of process changes; Black Belt certification a plus Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform)
