About the role
As a Product Data Analyst at MillerKnoll, your primary objective will be to develop and maintain accurate product data that reflects the company's offerings. This data plays a crucial role in supporting the specification of furniture products within software platforms such as CET Designer. Your responsibilities will include managing, processing, and automating product data while ensuring its accuracy before release to development and integration teams. Key Responsibilities: - Individually develop/contribute and maintain data vocabulary content for custom extensions. - Analyze additions and changes to the vocabulary of products to determine their impact on data that drives the CET tool, making necessary changes and testing appropriately. - Ensure the accuracy of product data including products, options, prices, etc., and maintain consistency of data representation across product lines. - Build data vocabulary for product offerings represented in 2D and 3D visualization, including models converted from CAD formats, bill of materials, texture materials, etc. - Perform self-tests and evaluations of data to ensure it is free from faults before sending it for formal review. - Collaborate with internal teams to gather the required data to support products in different software platforms like CET Designer/pCon. - Work with legacy system teams to drive data exports from legacy systems and establish automated synchronization processes. - Provide first-level support for the team's technology support email/phone line, addressing user problems and questions. - Understand clients/dealers requirements and effectively communicate with them during various stages of projects. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent with 6 or more years of experience in data analysis, creation, and manipulation. - Experience in scripting languages such as MS Access/MS SQL is preferred. - Proven working knowledge of PDM/PIM or similar systems is a must. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Understanding of best practices with data version controlling systems. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality outcomes based on business requirements. - Proficient in troubleshooting technical and functional problems with intuitive problem-solving techniques. - Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to achieve monthly product release cycles. - Good verbal and written communication skills in English. - Willingness to be flexible in terms of working shifts (12:00 pm to 9:00 pm).
