About the role
Role Overview: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your main responsibility will be to design parts and components for conveyor systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. You will collaborate with the shop floor team to ensure the smooth implementation of designs and coordinate with external labor teams to execute designs accurately. Additionally, you will assist in sourcing items from factory stock, prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for projects, ensure quality checks for designs and finished components, maintain design documentation, and provide progress reports to management.
