About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Open Source department at MindLabs, your role will involve developing software solutions through a thorough understanding of information needs, collaboration with users, analysis of systems flow and work processes, investigation of problem areas, and adherence to the software development lifecycle. You will also be responsible for assessing operational feasibility, documenting and demonstrating solutions, preparing and installing software systems, and providing information on development and service issues. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and implement new integrations, as well as manage a team of developers. Key Responsibilities: - Study information needs, collaborate with users, and analyze systems flow - Evaluate operational feasibility and propose solutions - Develop documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code - Design system specifications and programming standards - Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues - Design, develop, and implement new integrations - Manage a team of developers Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent degree - 4-6 years of Django full stack development experience (Python, Django, PostgreSQL) - Experience in front-end development (Angular, Bootstrap, CSS, jQuery) - Proficiency in bug fixing in Django/Python/Web protocol - Experience in developing heavy traffic web solutions - Familiarity with working on LMS tools customization and integration is an advantage Join MindLabs as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute your expertise in open source software development to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
