About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes, improve manufacturing efficiency, and ensure high-quality product output. The ideal candidate will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and design teams to implement process improvements, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and quality. Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing methods. Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with design, quality, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth product manufacturing. Conduct time studies and capacity planning to improve operational efficiency. Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities. Monitor key manufacturing metrics and recommend improvements. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 25 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality systems. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and root cause analysis. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) is preferred. Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
