Lead AI Engineer / GenAI Architect

As a Lead AI Engineer / GenAI Architect in the Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of the team. With 5-8 years of experience in AI systems, you will be responsible for owning the architecture and roadmap, setting engineering standards, and leading the team to success. Your expertise in GenAI architecture and strong leadership skills will be instrumental in driving the department forward. Key Responsibilities: - Own the technical architecture and roadmap for the AI department - Set engineering standards and best practices - Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team - Manage stakeholders and drive build-vs-buy decisions - Ensure security, reliability, and responsible-AI compliance Must-Have Skills: - GenAI architecture end-to-end system design at scale (multi-agent orchestration, RAG platforms) - Full LLMOps deployment, monitoring, evaluation, cost control, observability - Responsible AI security, guardrails, and safe-deployment practices - Model strategy model/vendor selection and tradeoff analysis - Leadership team leadership and stakeholder/client communication Good-to-Have Skills: - Scale fine-tuning or distributed training - Platform data/platform architecture and infrastructure-as-code - Team building prior experience standing up an AI team or function As a Lead AI Engineer / GenAI Architect in the Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of the team.
