About the role
As an individual with experience in Android and Linux Multimedia frameworks, Linux Kernel development, and a focus on V4L2, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Proficiency in Java, Perl, and Python programming languages. - Understanding of software design patterns and multi-threaded programming. - Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, and basic algorithms, particularly on Linux/Android platforms. - Strong software debugging skills in embedded real-time operating systems, preferably on Linux platforms. - Additional experience in video usage models such as playback, streaming, camcorder, WiFi display, and content protection. - Familiarity with video compression standards like H264, H.265, and AV1. - Exposure to streaming protocols and implementation such as HLS, HTTP, and DASH. - Hands-on experience in Linux device driver development and debugging, specifically V4L2. - Expertise in utilizing tools and techniques on Linux like Windbg, JTAG, etc. - ARM or other embedded SoC development and debugging expertise. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python.
